The podcast “UmRäumen - Urbane Kunst für Leipzig” is part of the project series of the same name by Stadtkuratorin Leipzig - the programme for art in public spaces commissioned by the Department of Culture. Together with our guests, we want to explore the role that art in public spaces can play in supporting social transformation processes in Leipzig and elsewhere. We will also look at contemporary artistic and mediating formats for researching and communicating existing art in public spaces. The focus will be on perspectives from the culture of remembrance, but also on blanks and their significance for an urban society. The podcast is only available in German.
