Stadtkuratorin Leipzig begleitet immer wieder Prozesse um Denkmale im öffentlichen Raum, die Debatten über einen angemessenen Umgang mit historischen Objekten und die Frage nach einer zeitgemäßen Erinnerungskultur aufwerfen. Ein beispielhafter Blick nach Bristol kann zeigen, welches transformatives Potenzial kuratorische Projekte in gesellschaftlich aufgeladenen Denkmaldebatten entfalten können.
